When the city is covered in snow, escape to this beautiful waterfront park on the shorefront of Washington Heights. Although stunning year-round, the snow adds a fairytale charm to the massive stone pathways, giant trees, gardens, and overlooks to the Hudson River and New Jersey Palisades.

Fall in love in the glow of golden hour at one of the best places to watch the sunset in the entire city! Make this trip extra special by taking the NYC Ferry to the Bay Ridge stop to begin your sunset stroll at the start of the promenade. From the Pier, you can see the towering skyscrapers in Lower Manhattan and New Jersey and NYC's tallest bridge, the superstar of the park.
