Join NYC Parks for the 4th Annual Jackie Robinson Day Festival! This free, family-friendly event celebrates the contributions of this New York City legend to sports and the civil rights movement.

Celebrate this American hero who broke the Major League Baseball color barrier in 1947 and the park and community which continue to honor his legacy. 

Activities Include:

  • Live music and performances
  • Baseball clinics and games
  • Jumbo games
  • Arts and crafts
  • Local food trucks
  • Information from community organizations

Waiver Info

Participants in clinics and other recreational activities offered at this event must sign a waiver and provide photo identification before participating. Waivers will be provided at the event. Participants under the age of 18 must have a legal guardian present with photo identification to sign the waiver.
