Join NYC Parks for the 3rd Annual Jackie Robinson Day Festival! This free, family friendly event commemorates the legacy of the famed baseball player, including his passions for sports and recreation, jazz, and the community of Harlem.
Celebrate this American hero who broke the Major League Baseball color barrier in 1947 and the park and community which continue to honor his legacy.
Activities Include:
- Baseball clinics and games
- Soccer programming
- Jumbo games
- Arts and crafts
- Live music and performances
- Local food trucks
- Information from community organizations

Become a Volunteer!
Help us make this festival a fun day for all New Yorkers! Volunteers will have the opportunity to join the community to clean the park before the event, or help us support the event throughout the day. If you're interested in becoming a volunteer, please visit our Jackie Robinson Day Volunteer Registration Form. Volunteers must be 18 years or older.
Waiver Info
Participants in clinics and other recreational activities offered at this event must sign a waiver and provide photo identification before participating. Waivers will be provided at the event. Participants under the age of 18 must have a legal guardian present with photo identification to sign the waiver.
