Excellent launch spot for southern Jamaica Bay, including Dubos Point, Subway Island, and Vernam Barbadoes.

Hazardous Launch/Landing Conditions

This launch area is rocky with old piles and sharp drop-off offshore.

Currents

Jamaica Bay currents, tides, and wind can be treacherous. Wear a personal floatation device at all times, and paddle with a buddy.

This launch site is a good exit point for Jamaica Bay.
