By Car

Take I-95 to exit 8b, or the Hutchinson River Parkway to exit 5 (Orchard Beach/City Island). Follow signs to Orchard Beach. Enter Parking Lot. Launch is at the Northwest corner of lot.

By Mass Transit

Take the 6 train to Pelham Bay Station. Then take the BX 29 City Island bus to the City Island traffic circle and walk from there to Orchard Beach. Memorial Day through Labor Day take the Bx 12 & Bx 5 (weekends only) run to Orchard Beach.

Nearby Points of Interest: The Barrow-Pell Mansion Museum and Gardens.
