The royal paulownia can be found at Snug Harbor on the west side of the Veterans Memorial Hall Playhouse. The heart-shaped leaves of the species can grow strikingly large, sometimes reaching a diameter of one foot. Its glamorous, trumpet-shaped purple flowers bloom in the spring.
