Historic Richmond Town is New York's only historic village restoration, and home to this catalpa tree. The village was created by the Staten Island Historical Society in 1939, and it includes over 100 acres with more than two dozen historic buildings dating from the 17th to the 20th centuries. Located at the back of the tin shop, this tree was selected for its large size.
