In 1978, this weeping willow was planted in an abandoned lot, as part of a community effort to turn this vacant land into a community garden. Years later, both the tree and The Creative Little Garden are flourishing. This tree lost a major branch several years ago, but is stll beloved by garden volunteers and the community.
