The Arsenal Gallery Presents the 39th Annual Wreath Interpretations Exhibition Online
Celebrate the holiday season with our annual exhibition of creative and unique wreaths!
NYC Parks’ annual Wreath Interpretations exhibition welcomes the holiday season with 40 inventive and surprising wreaths handmade by artists, designers, and creative individuals of all ages. This year’s wreaths use yo-yos, sardine cans, bicycle tubes, vintage maps, plastic bottle caps, seed pods, and other unconventional materials to reinvent the traditional holiday symbol. Some address themes like COVID-19, climate change, and volunteerism, while others serve as calls for togetherness and expressions of resilience.
While the 39th exhibition has returned in person at the Arsenal Gallery in Central Park, we are pleased to share this online slideshow for those who are unable to visit the gallery this holiday season.
